Hightech Signs is an environmentally aware sign & banner company located in Salt Lake City, Utah. We would like you to know that we try to tread lightly when it comes to our environment.
Here are some of the steps we take to do our “green” part:
- We’ve implemented and enforce a “lights-out” energy-saver policy company wide.
- We recycle all of our paper and cardboard waste using GreenFiber.
- We recycle all of our plastic scraps using Laird Plastics.
- We recycle all of our metal scraps and old signs using Wasatch Metal Recycling.
- We dispose of all of our solvents properly using Safety-Kleen.
- A large percentage of our graphics are printed using UV-ink printers, which emit close to zero VOC’s (volatile organic compounds) into the atmosphere.
- We almost exclusively use energy-saving LED lighting rather than the traditional neon and fluorescent lamps to illuminate our signs.
- We offer several green product options including BioBoard (TM), The Bamboo display hardware line, and recycled and recyclable fabric, poster paper, banner material, and art canvas materials.
